Bread with walnuts and bran

A healthy and tasty bread ... as you will notice the appetizers have already broken a corner ... it's still hot ...

  • 500 gr flour plus two or three tablespoons
  • 100 g walnuts
  • 50 gr tarate
  • 2 teaspoons grated salt
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 sachet of dry yeast
  • 370 ml of warm water

RECIPE PREPARATION Walnut and bran bread:

Sift the flour into the bread bowl. We grind the nut. We heat the water slightly.

We put walnuts and bran in the bowl over the flour, I always put the salt on the edge. In the middle the yeast and above it the sugar. Pour warm water and knead a good dough, very little sticky. Add two or three tablespoons of flour while kneading until it sticks to your hands. We give it a round shape. We grow deep in the shape of a cross and leave it to grow in a warm place until it doubles in volume.

When the dough has risen, fold it three times and give it a round shape. Put in the baking dish (bread form) lined with baking paper. We cut deep with a cross-shaped knife. Let rise for another 30 minutes.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes and then serve with gusto! Bread is never cut hot or warm.
